Deliverable: A fully animated, voiceover-driven brand film progressing from abstract organic motion (grape-cell visuals) through product mechanics (capsule and solubility demonstration) to a head-to-head brand comparison and closing logo lockup.

My Role: Sourced the partner, directed the creative brief and visual tone across every animation, and provided ongoing feedback through concept, simulation, and final render to ensure each piece matched VINIA's brand language and messaging.

I sourced and have led the creative partnership with EnzymeFX since 2021, directing a multi-year library of 3D product animations for VINIA — used across paid ads, brand campaigns, and packaging.

 

Working directly with Tobias, I set the visual direction and feel for each piece: how the formula moves, how ingredients are represented, and how the product's science translates into something visceral and premium on screen.


EnzymeFX builds a photoreal "digital twin" of the product, then animates it — flowing liquids, capsule dissolves, ingredient breakdowns, particle simulations — into short, high-impact visuals engineered for conversion: Meta and Amazon ad creative, ingredient explainers, and product demos across D2C, retail, and landing pages.

PACKAGING DESIGN

Directed packaging design and 3D animation partners from concept through execution, including briefing, strategy, ideation, and creative feedback across every product launch translating brand strategy into physical packaging.

Medical Animation Partner: David Bolinsky


Pioneer of 3D medical animation. David Bolinsky is widely credited as the first traditional medical illustrator to make the leap into 3D CGI, founding Advanced Imaging, Inc. in 1984 — the world's first digital medical animation company — after serving as Senior Medical Illustrator at the Yale School of Medicine. In 2000, he co-founded XVIVO Scientific Animation, where he remains Medical Director.

Signature work: Bolinsky is best known for The Inner Life of the Cell, the landmark animation he directed for Harvard's Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology — viewed by millions online and widely regarded as a turning point in scientific visualization. He's a two-time TED speaker, presenting the acclaimed Inner Life of a Cell talk in 2007.

Client roster: Merck, Genentech, Novartis, Pfizer, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, DARPA, the Smithsonian, Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry, and universities including Yale, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and Oxford.

Credentials: B.S. in Medical Illustration (AMI-accredited) from Ohio State University (1974); advanced anatomy training at Michigan State's College of Human Medicine; AMI member since 1983.

The experience of VINIA is not a single moment. It's a journey. Our job is to walk people through that journey, before they've lived it, so they know what to expect and stay long enough to feel it. Blood flow is a foundation. It shows up in people in different ways, at different times. ​One of the biggest problems we had was translating super advanced science to everyday terms that the consumer could understand. We realized that creating a timeline that would give the consumer measurable wins over a period of time was the way to go.
